About Bridget

Hailing from the land of 10,000 lakes in Minnesota - the Lake Okoboji lifestyle and real estate investment business is my calling!

My commitment, honesty, expertise, and professionalism have served me in my past careers, and are the very same traits I bring to every real estate relationship. 

My commitment to the truth and trusted executive skills were honed as a journalist (I was the first female Sports Editor of a daily newspaper in the state of Minnesota), and then as a Director of Catering and Event Management at luxury hotels in Minnesota, Houston, TX and ski resorts in Colorado. (I was the direct liaison to the Secret Service & White House Communications Agency for three executive visits including a sitting US President and Vice President, and a visit by former First Lady Barbara Bush.)

In 2016, my husband Bill and I fulfilled a dream of ours and moved to Okoboji, IA (where we married in 2008) to open our 11-room bed & breakfast inn - The Oakwood Inn Okoboji - where we are currently the owners/innkeepers. Our entrepreneurial spirit and work-ethic blend well with each other and we love hosting people from all over the states!

 

It was only a matter of time before I became a realtor, as I’ve always loved to buy and sell real estate. A few years after The Oakwood Inn Okoboji was up and running, I started Prestige Homes Okoboji as a way to help service my guests who stay with us while they check out the lakefront properties for sale. I love working with the property investment buyer just as much as the first-time homeowner - there’s nothing like being a part of helping someone find the home of their dreams.
